Oriskany is the Navy's first ship to be sunk by the authority provided under the Fiscal Year 2004 National Defense Authorization Act (Public Law 108-136) and will be the largest ship to be turned into an artificial reef, which will bring about many changes to Florida's marine life, presenting opportunities for business, fishing, surfing and other entertainment activities.
